Entry 3: Dangers and the benefits
of the Internet on children

We cannot imagine our life without Internet because it is the fastest way to get information from reliable sources. As we all know, everything has its good and bad sides, and using the Internet is not the exception.
Let`s scan the benefits of the Internet on children. Through the Internet children can read books or even buy them, if they really like it. Also, they can visit a lot of useful sites such as www.effortlessenglish.com where they can learn English faster and easier with the help of video and audio. Then, do some exercises or tests and sent to founder for checking. Moreover, they can communicate with their friends who live abroad and share with their thoughts, exchange opinions. Using the Internet enable children to learn a lot of necessary information, news, events going down around the world.

It is self – evident that the Internet has disadvantages as well. While using the Internet children can find many screens with games, and then easily be involved into those games. As a result they seat at computer the whole day and gradually become addicted to the Internet. Another example, children of this decade widely use the Internet as the source where they can find and copy compositions or essays on any topic. Therefore, they stop think to themselves and become lazier and lazier. One more minus of the Internet is distraction children from school. It is obvious, that the Internet attracts their attention and consequently, prevents them from study. As we don`t control them all time they can enter to the pages which are not allowed to.
Concluding, I would like to say that The Internet has more drawbacks than benefits. And I recommend children to use books, newspapers or magazines instead of the Internet sources. Furthermore, parents should be more attentive to their child and to keep an eye on children`s usage the Internet.

Entry 2: Debate on Mouse vs Touch

Screen
We live in the epoch of innovation technologies, and that`s why our age we can call the era of computers. Maybe for some people computers have made life easier, for others, computers have made life stressful and complex. But, anyway, computer is an essential part of our life. Every day new innovations are discovered and nowadays we have a large variety of computer technologies. If we talk about mouse and touch screen, we can say that both of them have their advantages and disadvantages.

Touch screen is more convenient and easier in use than mouse. It does not occupy a large surface and you may carry touch screen anywhere, and use it whenever you want. Furthermore, it does not need much electricity. You can charge it and then use it the whole day without any difficulties. But, on the other hand, you can face to some little problems as clicking some small icons which placed too close to each other. In that case using mouse will be better. Also, it is handy to you play games or do some projects with the help of mouse. But, it is not as fast as touch screen.
It is sad, that the more people, the more different opinions and it was just my point of view
Entry 1: My first impression and expectations

I cannot say that my first impression on IELTE was good. I thought it would be too difficult to study here. But day by day my opinion was changing, because methods of education in IELTE are sharply differ from philology.I like that our classes held like a game, because in this way we can get new information better. Furthermore, our teachers are very patient and responsive. Even if I have some questions I can apply for them and I am sure they will help me. Also, we must keep our English in IELTE building, it helps us to improve our speaking skills. What is more, we have friendly atmosphere not only in our group but in a whole building. As for my expectations, I want to polish up my English, especially my listening and speaking. In order to do it I must work on myself hard not only at the university but also at home. And then, I will be able to be a good specialist of my profession.
